Connect your Tally Gateway
The Ledgerbridge Agent establishes a secure outbound connection from your Tally machine to the import pipeline. No firewall configuration or inbound port forwarding is required.

Configure Tally ODBC Port
For the bridge agent to communicate, Tally's internal server must be active. Tally Prime defaults to port 9000.
Open Tally Prime → press F1 (Help) → Settings → Connectivity.
Set Client/Server Configuration to "Both" or "Server".
Under Port, set the value to 9000. If port 9000 is occupied, switch to 9001.
Press Ctrl+A to save, then restart Tally.
Ensure no firewall or antivirus is blocking port 9000 on localhost.
If Tally shows a "Server already running" message, another instance is active. Close all Tally windows and reopen the company.
